In coordination with DC Public Schools, the Department of Corrections provides special education services for inmates previously enrolled in special education or deemed as needing special education services. These services are provided until the inmate turns 22 years old and would be determined when meeting with the inmate’s case manager for classification and programming.

OCTO is aware of the global issue with CrowdStrike’s update impacting Windows servers and computers. CrowdStrike has identified the issue and a fix. We are supporting District agencies to ensure operations continue. At this time, District operations are not experiencing major impacts.
