District of Columbia Department of Corrections’ (DCDOC) Director Tom Faust announced today that Chaplain Betty Green has been selected by the Salvation Army as their 2013 Chaplain of the Year.  This prestigious national award is given during the American Correctional Association’s annual summer conference which this year is being held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor Maryland from August 9th through the 14th.
