The Department of Corrections (DOC) works diligently to prepare inmates nearing their return to the community for successful re-entry. Effective programming is offered to address the diverse needs of the inmate population. Programs offered include, but are not limited to substance abuse treatment, mentoring, life skills training, conflict resolution, parenting, GED preparation and adult education classes. Through the DOC health care provider, those returning to the community have access to continued health care services.
